सौरमंडल

सूर्य तथा उसके चारों और परिभ्रमण करने वाले ग्रह उपग्रह धूमकेतु उल्का पिंडो एवं क्षुद्र ग्रहों को संयुक्त रूप से सौर्य मंडल कहा जाता है ।

पृथ्वी अपनी धुरी पर घूमती है ग्रह तथा अन्य पिंड सूर्य के चारों ओर चक्कर लगाते हैं,इस सिद्धांत का प्रतिपादक कोपरनिकस ने किया था ।

सूर्य के चारों ओर चक्कर लगाने वाले ग्रहों की संख्या आठ है ।

आकार के अनुसार ग्रह हैं _(घटते क्रम में) बृहस्पति, शनि,अरुण (यूरेनस),वरुण (नेपच्यून), पृथ्वी, शुक्र मंगल तथा बुध ।

सूर्य की दूरी के अनुसार ग्रह है- बुध, शुक्र, पृथ्वी, मंगल,बृहस्पति,शनि ,  अरुण (यूरेनस) तथा वरुण( नेपच्यून) ।

The sun and the planets that revolve around it, the satellite comet meteor bodies and asteroids are jointly called the solar system.

 The Earth rotates on its axis, the planets and other bodies revolve around the Sun, the theory coined by Copernicus.

 The number of planets revolving around the Sun is eight.

 The planets according to size are _ (in decreasing order) Jupiter, Saturn, Arun (Uranus), Varuna (Neptune), Earth, Venus Mars and Mercury.

 According to the distance of the Sun the planets are - Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Arun (Uranus) and Varuna (Neptune).
